Urban Bike Project supports the community by providing opportunities for bicycling as a healthy, affordable and practical means of transportation. Urban Bike focuses on education and self-reliance by providing bikes, self repair facilities and training to youth and adults in low income areas. The Urban Bike Project is a thriving center of community activity and a hub for community meetings, special events and Wilmington youth. Jim and Laura discuss biking as an affordable means of transportation, a vehicle for a healthy lifestyle and the many ways access to bicycling and training can positively impact communities.
